Your Question:

what if i lose everything?

Answer:

My friend, I've thought about this question many times, especially as a pastor. If you were to lose everything - your wealth, your possessions, your status - what would be left? The Bible says that whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it (Mark 8:35). It's a paradox, isn't it? Losing everything in this world can lead to gaining something far greater in the next.

As I reflect on this, I'm reminded of Paul's words in Philippians 3:7-8. He says that he considers everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus his Lord. That's what it's all about, my friend - knowing Christ and having a relationship with Him. Everything else is just temporary and fleeting. Even our achievements and accomplishments will be forgotten in the end. As the Bible says, "We have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either" (1 Timothy 6:7).

So, what's the point of losing everything? It's not about losing, but about gaining a deeper relationship with God. As the Bible says, "Draw near to God and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8). Seek God with an open heart, and He will reveal Himself to you. That's the greatest gain of all, my friend.
