Biblical Answer

As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with faith, wondering if it's still possible to have a sense of faith despite their doubts and fears. The Bible reminds us that faith is not just intellectual acceptance, but a deep trust in God's word. In fact, Jesus said, "Have faith in God" (Mark 11:22). It's not about taking a slight notice of what He says, but about trusting in Him completely.

To develop a stronger faith, it's essential to begin by removing the small stones in our shoes, as it says in the Bible, "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12). This means acknowledging the barriers that prevent us from having faith, whether it's a sin, a habit, or a lack of concern for God's will. By identifying these obstacles, we can take the first step towards removing them and growing in our faith.

As we read the Bible and pray regularly, we'll begin to see the truth of faith revealed to us. The Bible says, "Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ" (Romans 10:17). It's not about comparing our faith to others, but about running with endurance the race set before us, looking unto Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-2). By following these simple steps and trusting in God's word, we can develop a stronger and more dynamic faith that will help us overcome any obstacle and fulfill our dreams.
