Understanding Helplessness and Hopelessness

It's not uncommon to feel helpless and hopeless, especially when struggling with depression. The Bible reminds us that our present hopelessness can be a result of putting our trust in something other than Christ or having done wrong (2 Corinthians 4:16-17). The Bible reminds us that we are not alone and that God is sovereign over all creation (Psalm 138:8).
