The Biblical Teaching on Forgiveness

The Bible teaches that forgiveness is a fundamental aspect of our relationship with God and with one another. In the New Testament, Jesus teaches that we are to forgive others their trespasses, just as our heavenly Father forgives us our trespasses (Matthew 6:14-15; Ephesians 4:32).
