Why did God let me get into a relationship with a bad person?

It is natural to wonder why God allowed you to get into a relationship with someone who hurt you. The Bible teaches that God is love and that He made us in His image, which is why we love each other. However, God also gave us free will, which means that we have the ability to make choices that can lead to harm or hurt. In the case of a bad relationship, it is possible that God allowed you to get into that relationship in order to teach you something about Himself, about yourself, or about the other person.
