Remember that there is no guarantee that pain-free longevity is a reality for each of us. However, God promises that he will be with us in the midst of suffering (Matthew 28:20). This means that even in the darkest moments, we can find hope and comfort in God's presence. As the Bible says, "The Lord will comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wasteland like the garden of the Lord" (Isaiah 51:3).

In the midst of chronic pain and depression, it's crucial to focus on spiritual solutions rather than just physical treatments. While physical treatments may alleviate some symptoms, they don't address the root problems of guilt, fear, self-loathing, and other spiritual symptoms. Instead, seek to understand the spiritual essence of depression and how it affects your relationship with God. This means being on guard against self-pity, grumbling, and complaining, and keeping the cross close at hand. By doing so, you can find hope and comfort in God's presence, even in the midst of suffering. As the Bible says, "Blessed are those who have not seen but have believed" (John 20:29). This means that even in the absence of physical relief, we can still find joy and peace in our relationship with God.
