The Importance of Serving and Giving to Others

Helping your children understand the importance of serving and giving to others is a vital part of their spiritual growth and development. As Christians, we are called to be stewards of God's resources and to use them to bless others (Matthew 25:31-46). One way to instill this value in your children is to model it yourself. Show them that serving and giving to others is a priority in your life by volunteering, donating to charity, and practicing random acts of kindness. Explain to them that every time they give to others, they are reflecting God's love and care for the world (John 3:16).

Teaching Children the Value of Giving
