You Are Not Alone

When facing a terminal diagnosis, it's natural to feel overwhelmed, anxious, and uncertain about the future. The weight of this news can be crushing, and it's common to wonder if you'll be okay. First, let's acknowledge that your feelings are valid, and it's okay to process them. However, it's essential to remember that you are not alone in this struggle. God is with you, and He is not surprised by this news. He is the Sovereign Lord who knows the number of your days and has a plan to care for you, even in the midst of suffering (Job 14:5; Psalm 139:16).

God's Promise of Hope

In the midst of this uncertainty, it's crucial to hold onto the promises of God. Jesus' words in John 14:1-3 offer a glimpse of hope: "Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." These words remind us that our eternal home is not here on earth, but in heaven with God. He is preparing a place for you, and He will come to take you home when your time on earth is complete.

Trust in God's Sovereignty

He is the One who created you, sustains you, and governs all things, including the number of your days (Psalm 103:14-18).
