Can I still trust God after all this?

The question of trusting God in the midst of life's challenges is a common one. It's natural to wonder if God is still good and faithful when things don't go as planned. The Bible teaches us that trusting God is not about being confident in ourselves or our abilities, but about placing our trust in Him alone. When we trust God, we're saying that we need Him, and that our search for self-satisfaction has been a failure. We're turning to the One who has been our true destination all along.

The paradox of trusting God is that when we trust Him, we're not trying to usurp His sovereignty, but rather acknowledging that He is the One who is in control. We're trusting that He will do as He has promised, and that He will never prove unfaithful to those who trust in Him. The essence of true faith is taking God at His word and relying on Him to do as He has promised. This means that even when things don't make sense, we can still trust in God's goodness and faithfulness. As Psalm 31:19 says, "Oh, how great is your goodness, which you have in store for those who fear you, accomplishing for those who take refuge in you all the works of their hearts." We can trust that God is working everything out for our good, even when we can't see it.

So, can I still trust God after all this? The answer is yes. We can trust in God's goodness and faithfulness, even when things don't go as planned. We can trust in His goodness and faithfulness, and know that He will always be there for us, no matter what.
