Biblical Answer

When we experience hardship or loss, it can be difficult to understand why God allows it. It's natural to feel like God is taking everything away from us, and that He doesn't care. However, this perspective is often based on a misunderstanding of God's character and His intentions. God is not a distant, uncaring deity who delights in causing us pain. Rather, He is a loving Father who desires a personal relationship with us, and who wants to draw us closer to Himself through trials and challenges.

The Bible teaches that God is sovereign over all creation, and that He works all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). This doesn't mean that God causes evil or hardship, but rather that He uses these experiences to refine us, to teach us, and to bring us closer to Himself. When we pray and ask God to remove a problem or obstacle, we must be willing to trust that He knows what's best for us, even if it doesn't seem that way at the time. We must also be willing to let go of our own desires and expectations, and to surrender to God's plan for our lives.

In the midst of hardship or loss, it's essential to remember that God is still with us, and that He is working everything out for our good. We must not give up or become discouraged, but rather, we must press in to God and trust in His sovereignty. As the psalmist wrote, "He sent from above, He took me; He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me" (Psalm 91:14). We can trust that God is our Savior, our Deliverer, and our Rock, and that He will see us through even the darkest of times. By trusting in God's goodness and sovereignty, we can find peace and comfort in the midst of hardship, and we can experience the joy and freedom that comes from knowing Him.
