The Struggle is Real

When facing difficulties and struggles, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and question our strength. We may feel like we're not strong enough to handle the challenges that come our way, and that's a normal feeling. However, as Christians, we need to remember that our strength comes not from ourselves, but from God. In 2 Corinthians 12:8-9, Paul writes, "Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christs power may rest on me. That is why, for Christs sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in dif- ficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." This means that our weaknesses are actually opportunities for God to show His strength and power in our lives.

God's Strength in Our Weakness

So, how do we tap into God's strength when we feel weak? It starts with acknowledging our weaknesses and limitations. We need to be honest with ourselves and with God about our struggles. We can't pretend to be strong when we're not, because that's not being honest with God or with ourselves. Instead, we need to come to God in humility and ask for His help. We need to confess our sins and ask Him to pull the arrows out of our hearts (Psalm 38:1-5). We need to remember that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and that He is able to do more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Don't Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table

When we're struggling with difficulties and weaknesses, it's easy to feel like we're all alone and that there's no way out. But that's a lie from the enemy. God is with us, and He has a way out. We need to remember that God is our strength and our shield (Psalm 28:7). We need to pray and ask God to help us in our struggles, and to give us the strength we need to overcome them. We need to remember that our weaknesses are opportunities for God to show His strength and power in our lives. So, don't give the enemy a seat at your table. Instead, give God the opportunity to work in your life and to show you His strength and power. Remember, "God will provide a way out" (1 Corinthians 10:13). He will give you the strength you need to overcome your struggles and to live a life that honors Him.
