Can we truly trust others when we've been hurt?

The Difficulty of Trusting Others

When we've been hurt, it can be challenging to trust others. Our experiences of pain, abuse, infidelity, poverty, loss, and other forms of hurt can fill us with deep doubts about our own judgment and character. Woundedness can lead to self-doubt, guilt, resentment, and bitterness, making it difficult to trust others.
