Is God Still with Me?

If you're feeling disconnected from God, it's essential to understand that He is constantly seeking you, even when you're not seeking Him. As the Bible says, "When I was looking for God, He found me." (Matthew 6:33) This verse highlights the idea that God is proactive in pursuing a relationship with us, rather than waiting for us to initiate contact. Despite our feelings of isolation, the Bible assures us that God is always with us. Deuteronomy 31:6 says, "The Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6) This verse emphasizes God's commitment to being with us, even in the midst of turmoil and uncertainty. Isaiah 41:10 adds, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God." (Isaiah 41:10) These words remind us that God's presence is a source of comfort, peace, and strength, even when we feel like we're alone.

Finding Peace and Comfort

As the Bible says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness."
