Can I Still Have a Relationship with God?

The Bible teaches that our relationship with God is not dependent on our good deeds or actions, but rather on the work of Christ in communication and love. Our sufficiency of relationship is in that which God made it to be, in the infinite-personal God, on the basis of the work of Christ. This means that our relationship with God is not something that we can earn or achieve through our own efforts, but rather it is a gift that is given to us through faith in Jesus Christ.

However, our relationship with God is not just about our individual relationship with Him, but also about our relationships with others. Jesus teaches that our ability to worship God sincerely and fellowship with Him unashamedly is contingent upon the status of our relationships with others, including those we've offended. This means that if we have strained or broken relationships with others, it can affect our relationship with God. But the good news is that as Christians, we don't have to do anything to earn or maintain our relationship with God. Our relationship with Him is secure and permanent, and we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ.

So, can I still have a relationship with God? Yes, you can. In fact, God desires a personal and intimate relationship with you. He is a loving and relational God who wants to communicate with you and be in a reciprocal relationship with you. Through faith in Jesus Christ, you can have a relationship with God that is based on His promises and not on your own efforts. This relationship is not something that can be earned or achieved, but rather it is a gift that is given to you through faith. And once you are in this relationship, you can pray to God in Jesus' name and experience the joy and blessing of being in communion with Him.
