Can I lose God's forgiveness?

The Bible teaches that God's forgiveness is not something we can lose, but it is conditional upon our response to it. In the book of Joshua, God warns the Israelites that if they forsake Him and serve foreign gods, He will not forgive their rebellion and sins (Josh. 24:19).
