Your Question:

How do we respond to chaos with courage and faith when our plans are constantly being disrupted?

Answer:

As a pastor and a man of faith, I've learned that responding to chaos with courage and faith requires establishing ourselves on the eternal truth that God is holy love. This mental composure comes from understanding that God is in control and that our lives don't have to be left up to chance. When disaster occurs in our lives, it's often because we lack this composure, and we need to venture our all with total abandoned confidence in Him.

Faith is the supreme effort of our lives, throwing ourselves with abandon and total confidence upon God. We see this in the life of Jesus, who ventured His all to save us. Now, God wants us to venture our all with total abandoned confidence in Him. This means being vigilant in prayer, not just for ourselves, but for our brothers and sisters who may be facing challenges. It also means being courageous in the face of daunting tasks or challenges, and not shrinking back or withdrawing from them.

To respond to chaos with courage and faith, we need to take action in the present. This means determining our reaction to both little and big self-made problems, and proactively applying a new strategy to handle failure. We need to pray and ask God to help us react by faith to any future failures, and then plan to share our new strategy with a prayer partner or mentor. By doing so, we can develop the habit of carefully listening to God about everything, and forming the habit of finding out what He says and heeding it.
