Theology of Work

From the biblical perspective, work is not a punishment from God. In fact, work is a blessing from God who himself works. The ground is blessed by God so that it produces seed for food, seed for planting, and seed for harvest (Genesis 1:29). God's intention is for humanity to work in the garden and to cultivate it (Genesis 2:15). This is not a curse, but a blessing from God.
