Why me? Why now?

As I reflect on my life, I realize that God had a purpose for me all along. My journey to faith was not a straightforward one, but it was guided by His sovereignty. I remember the time I reacted the wrong way to a difficult situation, and instead of getting angry or frustrated, I chose to use that experience to get to the real subject at hand. I was not trying to play a trick on anyone, but I was trying to understand the reason behind God's actions. I had a faulty theology of suffering, which led me to believe that God only wants to heal me because He loves me and has a wonderful plan for my life. However, this theology was not rooted in biblical truth, and it led to a lot of confusion and anxiety.

My experience has been shaped by the people around me, including my friends and family who have shared their faith with me. One of my friends, a Christian woman, shared with me how she trusted God even in the midst of suffering. She said, "God is using me from His great personal perspective, and all He asks of me is that I trust Him." This statement was a game-changer for me, as it helped me to understand that God is not just a loving Father who wants to heal me, but He is also a sovereign God who is working everything out for my good. I began to see that my suffering was not just a random event, but it was an opportunity for me to trust God and learn to rely on Him.

Looking back, I can see that God was working in my life all along, even when I didn't realize it. He was planting seeds of faith in my heart, and eventually, they blossomed into a full-fledged relationship with Him. My faith has not been a result of trying to be good or following a set of rules, but it has been a result of trusting in God's goodness and sovereignty. I am grateful for the journey that has brought me to where I am today, and I am excited to see how God will continue to work in my life. Why now? I believe that God is calling me to share my story with others, to help them understand that He is real and that He is working in their lives. I am not perfect, and I have made my share of mistakes, but I know that God is using me for His glory, and that is a truly amazing thing.
