The Possibility of Trusting God When Everything Falls Apart

When everything falls apart, it can be difficult to trust God. It's natural to wonder why God doesn't remove the evil in the world or make our lives easier. However, the Bible teaches us that we can trust God, even when things seem to be falling apart. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, it says, "No sea is deeper than the ocean of His love." This means that no matter what challenges we face, God's love for us is always greater. We can trust Him to sustain us and guide us through difficult times.

Developing a Habit of Trusting God

It's possible to become proficient in trusting God consistently. This is called perseverance. As we respond to God in obedience, we can develop a knack for trusting Him. This means that even when things seem to be falling apart, we can trust God to work everything out for our good. In Job 13:15, it says, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust Him." This shows that even in the midst of suffering, we can choose to trust God. Our trust is not in our own abilities or circumstances, but in God's goodness and faithfulness.

The Assurance of Trusting God

When we trust God, we can be confident that He will never prove unfaithful to us. In Psalm 31:19, it says, "Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men!" This shows that God is always good and faithful to those who trust Him. We can trust Him to work everything out for our good, even when everything seems to be falling apart. In Isaiah 41:10, it says, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." This is a promise that we can trust God to be with us and strengthen us, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
