When your faith is shattered, it's essential to remember that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). This means that we need to focus on God's Word and His promises, even when our circumstances don't align with them. As the father of the boy who wasn't healed by the disciples said, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:24), we can pray for God to help us overcome our doubts and unbelief.

It's essential to remember that faith is not about feeling or emotional experiences, but about knowing God's character and promises. We must be willing to take a step of faith, even when we don't know what God will do. We can talk to God continually, claiming His promises and asking for His guidance. We must also be willing to do what God wants us to do, whether or not we are successful. By focusing on God's Word and His promises, we can grow our faith and develop mental composure, even in the midst of challenging circumstances. As the Bible says, "The testing of your faith produces patience... that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything" (James 1:4).
