The Impermanence of Earthly Possessions

The Bible teaches us that our earthly possessions, including our homes, are not permanent. In fact, the Bible warns us that even our wealth and possessions will not last. In Psalm 39:6, it is written, "Truly, you have made my days as handbreadths, and my lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath." This verse reminds us that our time on this earth is short, and our possessions are but a fleeting moment in the grand scheme of eternity.
