Is God still with me even when I doubt?

The Bible teaches us that God is always with us, even when we doubt. In fact, it's during those times of doubt that we need to remember God's presence and sovereignty in our lives. When we're struggling with doubts, it's easy to feel like God has abandoned us, but the truth is that He's still with us, guiding us and teaching us even when we don't fully understand.

When we doubt, it's essential to stop and reflect on our doubts. Rather than trying to reason them out or justify them, we should seek to understand what's causing them. Are we questioning God's goodness or His existence? Are we struggling with fear, anxiety, or uncertainty? Once we identify the root of our doubts, we can begin to address them and seek God's guidance. The Bible encourages us to focus on our faith and trust in God, rather than our doubts (2 Peter 1:5-11; Matt. 11:28-30).

Ultimately, trusting God means surrendering our doubts and fears to Him. It means abandoning ourselves to His care and guidance, even when we don't fully understand. As the Bible says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). When we trust God, we can be confident that He's with us, even when we doubt. We can rest in His sovereignty and goodness, knowing that He's working everything out for our good (Romans 8:28). So, yes, God is still with us even when we doubt, and He's always working to guide us and teach us, even when we don't fully understand.
