Understanding God's Sovereignty

The question of why God allowed you to get into a relationship with a bad person can be understood through the lens of God's sovereignty. God is the creator and sustainer of all things, and He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). This means that even the difficult experiences we face can be used by God to shape us into the people He wants us to be.
