Praying for Financial Provision

As a Christian, you may be wondering how you can afford to send your kids to therapy. While the cost of therapy can be a significant burden, I want to encourage you to remember that God is the ultimate provider. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus teaches us not to worry about our physical needs, but to trust in God's provision. This doesn't mean that we don't plan or work hard to provide for our families, but rather that we put our trust in God's sovereignty and provision. As we pray for our children's needs, including their emotional and mental health, we can trust that God will provide for them.

Seeking God's Wisdom and Guidance

Rather than focusing solely on how to afford therapy, I encourage you to seek God's wisdom and guidance on how to care for your children's emotional and mental health. Ask God to give you wisdom on how to navigate these challenges and to provide for your children's needs. In James 1:5, we are reminded that God gives generously to those who ask Him in faith, without finding fault. As you seek God's guidance, you may find that He leads you to resources or opportunities that you hadn't considered before. You may also find that He gives you the wisdom and discernment you need to make decisions about your children's care.

Relying on God's Sovereignty

Ultimately, as Christians, we must rely on God's sovereignty over all aspects of our lives, including our finances and our children's needs. In Psalm 37:4, we are encouraged to "delight ourselves in the Lord and He will give us the desires of our hearts." As we delight in the Lord and seek His guidance, we can trust that He will provide for our children's needs, including their emotional and mental health. While the cost of therapy may be a significant burden, we can trust that God will provide for our families and meet our needs according to His riches in glory. (Philippians 4:19) By relying on God's sovereignty and provision, we can find peace and trust in the midst of uncertainty.
