Your Question:
What happens when I'm not here anymore?
Answer:
My friend, when I'm not here anymore, I know that my family will be left behind to carry on without me. My wife, Susan, will be 65 years old, and our children, Joshua and Rebecca, will be 38 and 31, respectively. I hope that they will continue to live out their faith and serve the Lord, just as I have tried to do during my time on this earth. As a pastor, I've often spoken about the impermanence of life and the importance of living each day with purpose and intention. I've told my congregation that our time on this earth is short, and that we should make the most of it by serving others and sharing the love of Christ with those around us. I hope that my family will continue to live out these values, even after I'm gone. But even though my physical body will be gone, I know that my spirit will live on. As a Christian, I believe in the promise of eternal life, and I'm confident that I'll be reunited with my Lord and Savior in heaven. I hope that my family will find comfort in this knowledge, and that they'll continue to trust in God's goodness and provision, even in the midst of grief and loss.
