Dealing with the Fear of the Unknown

The fear of the unknown is a common human experience. When we are faced with uncertainty, our minds can become consumed with apprehension and anxiety. However, as Christians, we have the assurance of God's presence and power in our lives. When faced with the unknown, we can confess our fears as unbelief and turn to God for guidance and reassurance. Psalm 57:4-5 says, "My heart says of you, 'Seek his face!' Your face, Lord, I will seek. Do not hide your face from me. Do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper." (NIV) This verse reminds us that we can seek God's face and guidance, even in the midst of uncertainty.

As Psalm 138:8 says, "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O God, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands."
