Understanding God's Sovereignty

The question "Why did God let me lose my business?" can be a challenging one, especially when we feel like we were doing everything right. However, it's essential to recognize that God's sovereignty is not limited by our understanding or expectations. He is the all-knowing, all-powerful Creator who works everything out according to His will (Psalm 115:3, Isaiah 46:10). This means that even in the midst of loss or failure, God is still in control and working out His purposes.

It's also crucial to examine our motives and reasons for doing what we do. Are we seeking to serve God and please Him, or are we trying to achieve our own goals and desires? The Bible teaches us that true worship is not about what we can get from God, but about giving ourselves to Him in love and obedience (John 4:24, Matthew 22:37). As the Bible says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). By seeking God's guidance and wisdom, we can learn to trust in His sovereignty and find hope and peace in the midst of uncertainty.
