The Folly of Retirement Planning

Retirement planning, in the classical sense, is a futile endeavor. The idea that we can secure our future by accumulating wealth and material possessions is a flawed one. Jesus' words in Mark 8:36, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?" serve as a stark reminder of the emptiness of such pursuits.
