Understanding the Nature of Security

The idea of security is deeply rooted in our desire to control and predict the future. We often believe that accumulating wealth and material possessions will provide us with the stability and comfort we seek in our retirement years. However, the Bible warns us against this mindset, teaching that true security comes from trusting in God, not in our own abilities or possessions. As Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty."
