The Risk of Risking Everything: A Biblical Perspective

When considering whether to risk everything to try to save a business, it is essential to examine the motivations and priorities involved. As Christians, we must recognize that our primary focus should be on our relationship with God and our eternal salvation. While it is natural to want to protect our earthly possessions and investments, we must not prioritize them over our spiritual well-being.

In Matthew 16:25-26, Jesus warns, "For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." This verse suggests that there is a trade-off between earthly security and spiritual gain. When we prioritize our business or possessions over our faith, we may be risking our eternal salvation.
