But let me ask you, have you ever received the peace that comes from looking into the face of Jesus and fully understanding and receiving His quiet contentment? You see, true inner peace is impossible unless it's received from Jesus. When He speaks peace, He creates peace, because His words are always spirit and they are life. But to receive that peace, we need to be willing to face our own hearts and deal with the issues that are causing us to be disturbed. Sometimes, we try to avoid the quiet because we're afraid of what we might find within ourselves. But I encourage you to be persistent and seek the Lord, even if it means facing your own weaknesses and fears.

As I reflect on my own life, I realize that I'm not always good at creating peace and quiet in my own home.
