Your Question:

What if I can't afford to live?

Answer:

As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with the idea of living on a limited income. The truth is, we often define what it means to live by our standard of living, not by the standard of God's kingdom. For me to live is not just about accumulating wealth or possessions, but about living for Christ. When we prioritize our relationship with God, we begin to see that true living is not about what we have, but about who we are in Him.

When it comes to financial struggles, I believe that we often lack wisdom rather than resources. We can ask God for the Holy Spirit, and He will guide us in making wise decisions about our finances. We can also trust that God will provide for our needs, even when we feel like we can't afford to live. As it says in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." God is our provider, and He will take care of us when we put Him first.

In my own life, I've learned to trust God's provision, even when it feels like I'm living on a tight budget. As a family, we've learned to prioritize our giving and to trust that God will bless us in return. We don't have to worry about whether or not we can afford to live; we can trust that God will provide for us as we seek His kingdom first.
