The Value of Life with a Disability

The Bible teaches us that a disability is not a terrible consequence of the fall that must be endured. Rather, it is a reality that can be redeemed and transformed through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that even in the midst of suffering, we can rejoice in the Lord (Psalm 23:4-5). This is evident in the lives of many individuals with disabilities who have found happiness and fulfillment despite their challenges. For example, a survey indicates that 99 percent of adults with Down syndrome report that they are happy with their lives.

The Transforming Power of Faith

Faith in Jesus Christ can bring transformation and redemption to our lives, even in the midst of disability.
