The Teaching of Jesus on Sharing

Jesus taught that sharing is an essential aspect of the Christian life. He emphasized the importance of sharing material possessions, time, and resources with others. In Luke 12:33-34, Jesus taught that people should use their worldly goods to bring blessings to others, and that this would be a sign that they deserved the true riches of eternal life. He also taught that sharing a meal with others was an expression of intimacy and trust (Luke 5:29-32, John 13:18-20).

The Example of Jesus

Jesus demonstrated the value of sharing by his own actions. He shared his bread with others, even with those who were considered undesirable (Luke 15:29-30). He also shared his time and resources with others, including his disciples, whom he referred to as his friends (John 15:13-15). Jesus' willingness to share with others was a key aspect of his ministry, and he expected his followers to do the same. This is the spirit of sharing that Jesus taught us, and it is essential for living a life that reflects our love for God and for others.
