Biblical Answer

The Bible teaches that we are not promised tomorrow, and our lives are in God's hands. As Psalm 139 says, "Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.... If I say, Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me, even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you." This means that no matter where we go or what we do, God is always with us, and He sees everything.

In Luke 12, Jesus tells a parable about a rich fool who is worried about his material possessions. The man says, "I am going to build bigger barns and store all my grain and goods. I will say to my soul, 'Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.'" But then Jesus says, "But God said unto him, You fool, this night your soul shall be required of you: then whose shall those things be which you have provided?" This parable teaches us that we are not promised tomorrow, and our lives are in God's hands. We should not become so focused on our material possessions or our daily worries that we forget about our spiritual well-being.

So, if you are worried about not making it through the night, remember that God is in control, and He sees everything. He knows our deepest fears and worries, and He is always with us. We can trust in Him and His goodness, even in the darkest of times. As the Bible says, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We are not alone, and we are not without hope. Even in the darkest of nights, God's love and presence are always with us. He is our rock, our refuge, and our salvation.
