The Problem of Trusting Others

When we experience failure, especially in situations where we have entrusted our lives to someone else, such as a doctor, it can be challenging to trust that person again. This is because our faith in them has been shaken, and we may wonder if they are reliable. However, it's essential to recognize that trusting others is a fundamental aspect of life. We trust doctors to diagnose our illnesses, pharmacists to fill our prescriptions, and friends and family members to provide emotional support. Without faith, we would be unable to navigate the complexities of life.

The Importance of Faith

Faith is not about blind trust, but rather about trusting in the character and reliability of the person or institution we are entrusting our lives to. When we hand over our lives to Christ, it doesn't mean we stop trying or become passive. Rather, it means we try to obey Him in a new way, with a sense of trust and dependence on Him. He will also make a way out so that we can bear it (1 Cor. 10:13).
