Understanding Dignity and Dependence

Dignity is a complex concept that is deeply intertwined with our sense of self-worth and autonomy. When we are dependent on others, it can be challenging to maintain our dignity, as we may feel vulnerable and exposed. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery" (Galatians 5:1).
