Why did I have to lose my job just when I needed it most?

The Sovereignty of God in Job Loss

It is natural to wonder why we lose our jobs, especially when we need them the most. However, from a biblical perspective, we must recognize that God is sovereign over all aspects of our lives, including our employment. The Bible teaches that God is the one who gives and takes away (Job 1:21). This means that our job loss is not a random event, but rather a part of God's plan for our lives.
