Your Question:
why did god let me lose my business?
Answer:
As I reflect on the question of why God allowed you to lose your business, I'm reminded of the story of Job. He lost everything, yet he didn't sin or charge God with wrong. He said, "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job 1:21) This verse teaches us that God is sovereign and that He allows troubles to come into our lives for a purpose. As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with the idea that God is somehow responsible for their troubles. But the truth is, God doesn't cause trouble, He allows it to happen so that we can learn and grow. He could simply have been without us, but He chooses to use us for His purposes. It's to our gain that He permits us to know and serve Him, and it's our loss if we reject that opportunity. In my own life, I've experienced struggles and setbacks, but I've learned to trust God's sovereignty and goodness. When I focus on my own desires and expectations, I can become frustrated and disillusioned. But when I trust God and His purposes, I can see that He is working everything out for my good, even when it doesn't feel like it. As the Bible says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
