Biblical Answer

You are suffering from pain and you are wondering why you have to go through it. You may be asking questions like "Why is this pain happening to me now?" or "Why does God allow suffering?" These are natural questions, and the Bible is full of cries of pain and suffering from people who were struggling to understand why they were going through what they were going through.

The Bible teaches that pain and suffering are a part of the human experience, but it also teaches that we are not alone in our suffering. God is present with us in our pain, and He is working to bring good out of it. This is not to say that God causes our pain or that He is uncaring, but rather that He is sovereign and is working all things together for our good. In Psalm 23, David writes, "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." This is a beautiful expression of God's care and provision in the midst of suffering.

So, why do we have to go through pain? The Bible teaches that pain is a result of the fall of humanity into sin. When Adam and Eve sinned, they brought suffering and pain into the world. But God is not a distant, uncaring God. He is present with us in our pain, and He is working to bring good out of it. In Romans 8:28, Paul writes, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." This is a promise that God is working all things together for our good, even in the midst of pain and suffering. So, while we may not be able to understand why we are going through pain, we can trust that God is present with us and is working to bring good out of it.
