Biblical Answer

When everything feels overwhelming, it can be challenging to find the strength to keep going. However, the Bible reminds us that our strength comes from God, not from ourselves. In 2 Corinthians 12:8, we read, "For my strength is made perfect in weakness." This means that our weakness is not a hindrance to God's strength, but rather, it is a catalyst for His power to be displayed. When we look to Jesus, we will no longer be alone, and we will be strengthened, and we will be changed (Hebrews 13:5-6). Expect to say, "This is exactly what I needed" (Psalm 119:71). Through our struggles, we can learn things about God and His love for us, and we can grow in our faith (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).

Our strength is not about being superhuman or trying to avoid obstacles, but rather, it is about trusting God to move them as we pray and trust Him (Matthew 11:28-30). We must purpose to grow our faith, and we must focus on who God is and what He is doing today in our hearts (Philippians 1:6). We are invited to an intimate relationship with God, where we can take back our freedom and control our thoughts and emotions (Psalm 119:50). We don't have to be trapped by fear, despair, or rage; we can choose to trust God and His goodness.

To find the strength to keep going, we must start slowly and help people set very basic goals initially, and then work together to build upon them (Galatians 6:2). We must also focus on serving God through our daily chores, accepting them with the right spirit, and shaping us into a different kind of person (Colossians 3:23-24). Patience can be formed only in the crucible of obstacles, but our strength comes not from dealing with obstacles, but from God's ability to move them as we pray and trust Him. By trusting in God's sovereignty and goodness, we can find the strength to keep going, even when everything feels overwhelming.
