Biblical Answer

As I sit here, reflecting on the struggles that you're facing, I'm reminded of my own experiences as a pastor. I've seen people go through difficult times, and I've wondered why they had to go through them alone. It's a question that weighs heavily on my mind, especially when I think about the challenges that my wife Susan and I have faced in our marriage. We've been married for 19 years, and we've had our share of ups and downs. But through it all, we've learned the importance of supporting each other, of being there for one another when things get tough.

As a father, I've also thought about why Joshua and Rebecca, my 17-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter, had to face certain struggles on their own. I've wondered if there was more I could have done to help them navigate those difficult times. But as I look back, I realize that sometimes, people have to go through things alone in order to grow and learn. It's a hard lesson to learn, but it's one that can bring us closer to God and to each other.

When I'm faced with challenges, I try to trust in God's plan and provision, even when I don't understand what's happening.
