Why did I have to lose everything to realize what's truly important?

The question of why we have to lose everything to realize what's truly important is a complex one that can be approached from a biblical perspective. The Bible teaches us that God is a sovereign God who works all things together for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28). This means that even in the midst of trials and hardships, God is working to reveal our hearts and to bring us to a place of spiritual maturity.
