Biblical Answer

When we think we are worthless, it's often because we're listening to the wrong voice. The voice of condemnation comes from guilt, and it can lead us to believe that we're not good enough, that we're hopeless, and that we're a complete failure. This voice tells us that we're unworthy and that we have no value. But God says that we are wanted by Him, made in His image, and worthy of His love because He has chosen to place worth upon us. Our identity was born in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, and through redemption, God bestows even greater value on us as the first fruits among His creatures (Jas 1:18).

The Enemy uses this voice of condemnation to make us feel worthless and hopeless. He promises two things: that we'll never be satisfied with others, and that we'll become servants to what we want. When we listen to this voice, we start to feel like we're not worthy, that we're finished, and that we have no more value. But this is a lie. We are not worthless; we are loved and valued by God. Our worth and value come from God, not from our own merit or worthiness. As the Bible says, "This I said, not meaning that anyone could be worthy through his own merit, but by the grace of God in regenerating the heart and working true repentance for sin in it" (Psalm 51:4).

So, how do we overcome this feeling of worthlessness? We need to listen to the right voice, the voice of God. We need to remember that our worth and value come from God, not from ourselves. We need to repent of our sins and seek forgiveness from God. And we need to remember that we are not alone in this struggle. We are all struggling with feelings of worthlessness and condemnation, but God is with us, and He is working in us to make us more like Himself. As the Bible says, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness'" (2 Corinthians 12:9). So, let us not give up, but instead, let us keep our eyes fixed on God, and let us trust in His goodness and love for us.
