The Importance of Prayer in Daily Devotions

Prayer is a spiritual discipline that we must diligently exercise in our daily devotions. It is the link with the Eternal by which man can come to the throne of grace in the power of the Holy Spirit and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Through prayer, we can commune with God and conform ourselves to His will. Prayer is not just about getting things for ourselves, but about cultivating a deepened willingness to do God's will. It is a means of discerning His will and aligning ourselves with His holy will.

The Purpose of Prayer
