Your Question:
How do I find the strength to keep going when everything feels so dark?
Answer:
My friend, I can sense the weight of darkness that's bearing down on you. As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with the same feelings of hopelessness and despair. But I want you to know that you're not alone in this. Remember what Jesus told us in 1 John 4:4 - "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." The power of God within you is greater than any darkness that may be surrounding you. It's essential to stand firm in the knowledge that the power within the hearts of the children of God causes the kingdom of darkness to tremble. Don't run, don't panic, and don't be frightened. Instead, take the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench the fiery darts of the enemy. And as you walk in the light, believe in the light, so that you may become sons of light. Remember, Jesus has already admonished those who are self-hardened to move toward the light while they have it. As you navigate through this dark period, remember to listen to God, not to talk. Don't seek answers from others or try to find reasons for the darkness. Instead, keep your mouth closed and your heart open to God's guidance. Our spiritual strength begins to be drained when we stop lifting our eyes to Him. So, continually bring the truth out into your real life, working it out into every area, or else even the light that you possess will itself prove to be a curse. And always remember, God is there, and He knows all about your struggles. Fill your mind with the thought that He is with you, and you will find the strength to keep going.
