Biblical Answer

My friend, I can sense the pain and despair in your words. You're feeling abandoned by God, and it's hard to shake off the feeling that He's turned His face away from you. I want you to know that I've been in similar situations, and it's okay to feel that way. But as a pastor, I've come to realize that God's ways are not our ways, and His silence doesn't necessarily mean He's abandoned us.

In fact, the Bible tells us that God can accomplish His purposes without us. It's to our gain that He permits us to know and serve Him, and it's our loss if we reject that opportunity. Sometimes, God's silence is not a sign of abandonment, but rather a call to surrender and trust in His goodness. It's easy to get caught up in our thoughts and questions, but true surrender means refusing to say, "Well, what about this?" and instead, trusting that God knows what He's doing.

I want to share a personal experience with you. Recently, my son Joshua was going through a tough time, and I felt like God was distant. But as I prayed and sought guidance, I realized that God was still with me, even when I couldn't feel His presence. He was working in my life, even when I didn't see it. I want you to know that you're not alone, and God is still with you, even in the midst of your struggles. Trust in His goodness, and remember that His silence doesn't mean He's abandoned you.
