The Bible reveals that the root cause of war and fights among people is their desires that battle within them. According to 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, "For though we live in the body, we are not carried along by natural tendencies, for we are not controlled by the desires that battle within us." James 4:1-3 further emphasizes this point, stating, "What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you do not possess, so you fight and quarrel." These passages make it clear that our inner struggles with desires and lusts lead to conflicts with others.

The Impact of War on Relationships

The impact of war on our relationships with others is devastating. Wars and fights can damage our relationships with family members, friends, and even our communities. When we are in a state of conflict, our relationships suffer, and we become isolated and disconnected from others.
