The Necessity of Trusting God's Love

Trusting God is essential because it is the realization that we need Jesus. Our search for self-satisfaction has been a failure, and we now turn to the One who, all along, has been our true destination. There is a paradox in trusting God, as we come to understand that he also has suffered on account of evil. This knowledge should not lead us to blame God for evil, but rather to acknowledge his greatness and sufficiency. Trusting God leads to a deeper knowledge of God, and as a result, God directs our paths (Prov 16:9). The Christian can trust God because he knows he is all-wise, loving, just, and holy. He sees the end from the beginning, so that there is no reason to fear or doubt.
