Your Question:
how do i keep going when it feels like everything is against me?
Answer:
I can relate to feeling like everything is against you. As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with feelings of hopelessness and despair. But I've also learned that it's in those moments that we must turn to God and allow Him to work in our lives. When we're faced with roadblocks and problems, it's easy to get discouraged and give up. But that's exactly what the enemy wants us to do. He wants us to focus on our problems and miss seeing the road ahead, where God is our Problem-Solver. It's essential to recognize and admit what's keeping us from God. When we look beyond our problems and focus on God, we'll find that He's seeking us more than we're seeking Him. As someone once said, "When I was looking for God, He found me." So, instead of giving up, we must choose to look up to God and trust in His goodness and sovereignty. We must remember that faith is not based on our victories, but on the Word of God. We must do what God wants us to do, whether or not we're successful. When we're feeling trapped and hopeless, we have a choice to make. We can either give up or turn to God and trust in His help. I always remind myself that God is my helper, even in my present circumstance. I say to myself, "But The Lord is my helper this very moment, even in my present circumstance." And with strong courage, I say, "I will not fear." It's a choice we must make every day, to trust in God and His goodness, even when everything seems against us.
