Biblical Answer

To live is to be free from debt. This is a biblical principle that is rooted in the concept of stewardship. According to Proverbs 22:7, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender." This verse emphasizes the importance of living within our means and not accumulating debt. When we are in debt, we are not free to live life as we want, but rather we are slaves to our creditors.
